On 19 March, Griffith University’s Asia Pacific Centre for Sustainable Enterprise at South Bank, Brisbane, is proud to be hosting an Open Lecture by Professor Dan Fogel. The Professor will delve into the strategic issues and principles that matter when it comes to sustainable enterprise.
Dan offers suggestions on how the pathway to sustainability can be unique and beneficial to businesses in terms of profits and social and environmental changes. He will present a number of successful and unsuccessful case studies that illustrate his key principles.
Dan Fogel received his B.S. and M.A. from the Pennsylvania State University and his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin. He has held academic positions at the University of Houston, Tulane University, and the University of Pittsburgh and has been a senior manager at two oil companies and a hospital system. He is currently at the Wake Forest University School of Business.
Dan’s current research and teaching focus is on how organisations adopt sustainability practices and principles as part of their core strategies. He has consulted for diverse organisations and has won a range of awards and grants.
