The Climate Change Authority (CCA) has released its final report on the review of the Renewable Energy Target. It has recommended leaving the overall RET and framework unchanged but has recommended a number of changes that will dampen future support for solar technologies. The CCA has moved away from its previous suggestion to discount the number.

A new report has benchmarked the current status of strategies and methodologies employed by Local Government in Queensland. The research looked at how Councils are achieving any reduction in the carbon intensity of their operations in response to climate change and legislative action by the Australian Government. The research utilised a survey of Queensland Councils.
